- This is a dummy file: it contains exactly one (1) carriage return, and

- trying to find "PETERPAN.ARC" here would know what happened to it. Apologies
- for any confusion or inconvenience.

- Title : Decoder for "MIME/Base64" encoded binary data
- Keywords: C-64 1541 1571 INTERNET MESSAGES BASE64 MIME ENCODED
-
- This program, for the C-64, may be used with either one or two disk
- drives (1541 and/or 1571). You will be able to decode Internet text
- messages containing encoded binary data, if the "MIME" ("base64") encoding
- method was used. That method is similar to UUencoding, but without error
- checking. You should see many lines of text gibberish, all lines of equal
- length. And shortly before the data start, you should see "base64". Save
- the message to a disk file (either PRG or SEQ), without ASCII to PETASCII
- translation.

- This program gives you a PRINT SCREEN function, whether you are in text mode
- or hi-res graphics mode. In text mode you may select either the printer's
- font, or copy your screen display with the printer in graphics mode. That
- lets you get a printout of designs in your screen display that use graphic
- characters, without the gap between character rows. If your computer uses a
- special character set, the printer will reproduce it. View your Doodles
- with CSLIDE, and press CONTROL/RESTORE to print them. For the C-64 and 1525
- printer.

-
- This file, for the C-64 computer and the 1541 disk drive, is a
- Self-Dissolving Archive (SDA). Load and run it to produce four files, for
- use with Miha Peternel's C-64 emulator for MS-DOS computers, C64S (version
- 1.0). The on-line version is available in library 1 of CBMART and library
- 11 of CBMAPP, as "C64S10.EXE". You will be able to produce disk images from
- 1541 disks, if you have modems and terminal programs for both computers. A
- file is created on each of two disks, and the data are sent to the MS-DOS

-
- This file is for the C-64, and 1541 disk drive. It will convert a text
- file from ASCII to PETASCII, or from PETASCII to ASCII. The main feature of
- the program is that the maximum size of the file that can be processed, is
- the capacity of the disk (164 Kbytes or 664 blocks for the 1541). You may
- also select either no linefeeds, or one linefeed, after each carriage
- return. The default conversion tables may be inspected and

-
- Have you downloaded "NULOAD.BIN" from this library, and been disgusted by
- the brazen advertisement for CBMART while you are loading a program? Well
- now you can make up your own screen. And create your own moving message.
- This program requires you to have "HEADER", which is produced when you run
- "NULOAD.BIN", which is a self-dissolving archive (SDA). You will still be
- able to auto-run large BASIC programs, and you will still have the bell and
- byte counter.

- This file, for the C-64 computer and 1541 disk drive, is a
- self-dissolving archive (SDA). Run it to produce three files; "NULOAD" is
- the doc file. "HEADER" is the file that you can concatenate with a BASIC
- program to produce an auto-run version. One of the features of the auto-run
- program is that the BASIC file may be up to 63,489 bytes in size.

-
- This file, for the C-64, is for those who use the 1670 modem, the one
- with three switches in the back. Commodore also sold a four-switch version
- of the 1670. If you keep the modem connected to the computer at all times,
- it will answer the telephone whenever the computer is on. This program will
- write a one-block program to your disk drive (device 8). Load that program
- (,8,1) to disable auto-answer mode. Do NOT run that program; just loading
- it will do the job. And any BASIC program in memory is preserved.

- This tiny program runs on 64 or 128; finds your SEQ files and lets you pick

- This program, for the C-64 and 1541 disk drive, will split a file into
- either two or three parts. You decide the number of disk blocks for the
- first part and second parts. If there are any blocks remaining, they become
- the third part. The resulting disk filenames are "part 1", "part 2", and
- (possibly) "part 3". The original file may contain up to 663 blocks (the
- disk capacity is 664 blocks). No new file is created; the original becomes
- either two or three files. To connect the files together, use "SPLICE.BIN".

- Keywords: DISK DRIVE DEVICE NUMBER SWAP DISKETTE SWITCH
-
- This C-64 program will let you swap two disk drive device numbers. LOAD"THIS
- PROGRAM",8 and RUN it, and enter the two device numbers (4 to 30) at the
- prompts. The program will write a file to a drive; assume that you name the
- file "SWAP". Then each time that you LOAD"SWAP",N,1 (where N is the device
- number), the two device numbers are swapped. If you selected 8 and
- 9, device 8 becomes device 9 and device 9 becomes device 8. Do NOT RUN
- "SWAP"; just LOADing it does the job. And any BASIC program in memory is
- preserved.

- Keywords: C-64 VIDTEX 4.2 PATCH PROGRAM ON-LINE GRAPHICS VIEWING
-
- This patch program, for VIDTEX 4.2, will let you view graphics files
- on-line. In addition to the RLE capability of VIDTEX, you will be able to
- display Doodle, Koala, compressed Doodle, and Compressed Koala files. The
- meta-/ (comkey-/) function is used to access this mode. So you no longer
- will be able to change border colors that way. You must read the Intel
- format of the file (rea int), which slows down the process. So 1200 bps
- operation is recommended. Cannot be used if VIDTEX is already patched.

- program will remove these "Image Header" bytes and you will have a loadable
- Program. Good luck and take care.
